During research and development of the Power Extractor, we took a barrel and machined rings in the chamber so that when a round was fired the case could not come out. When the pistol was fired, the PXT did not pull off the lodged case, instead it ripped right through the rim. If the case had been a normal stuck case, it would have come out of the chamber, preventing a double feed.

Para's skeletonized spur hammer has a faster lock time than conventional hammers. You get a clean, crisp release of the hammer each time you press our match-grade trigger, allowing you to break the shot precisely as you come on target.

Para uses only premium cocobolo for our wood stocks. Cocobolo has twice the density of walnut making it the wood of choice for the best handgun stocks. Its natural color ranges from red-orange to deep burgundy. We checker it with the classic double-diamond pattern and insert the Para gold medallion in the center of the stocks.
